SGCCI visits Mauritius to explore business relations

Surat, Oct 28 (UNI) A delegation of Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industries (SGCCI) visited Mauritius to discuss various trade and industries related matters with their counterparts there, sources said.

SGCCI sources said a large delegation including Nayanbhai Bharatiya, Ajoy Bhattacharya, Chetan Shah, Paresh Patel, Girdhar Gopal Mundhra, Yogesh Zariwala and Hariwadan Rana left for Maurituius on October 22, from here.

The delegation met important personalities in Mauritius including Prime Minister Aniruddh Juganauth and discussed various issues like textiles, garments, gems and jewellery, tourism and software development.

The delegation also invited Mauritius Prime Minister to inaugurate Vyapar-2007, the trade meet organised by SGCCI. A delegation of Mauritius businessmen also will come here to attend Vyapar-2007, sources said. There will also be a special pavillion for the Mauritius representatrives in the trade meet, SGCCI sources added.
