SBI's net profit dips by 2.54 per cent in Q2
Mumbai, Oct 28 (UNI) The State Bank of India's (SBI) net profit has dipped by 2.54 per cent during the second quarter of the current financial year when compared to the corresponding period last year.
The bank registered a net profit of Rs 118.459 crore for the quarter ended September 30 this year as against the sum of Rs 1215.36 crore for the corresponding quarter last year, the bank informed the BSE here today.
Total income has increased from Rs 9856.04 crore for the quarter ended September 30 last year to Rs 10811.23 crore for the second quarter during current fiscal.
The group has posted a net profit after minority interest of Rs 1734.45 crore for the second quarter in the current fiscal as compared to Rs 1590.75 crore for the quarter ended September 30 last year.
Total income has increased from Rs 13974.28 crore for the quarter ended September 30 last year to Rs 16255.36 crore for the second quarter in the current fiscal.
