Rape victim commits suicide in Barmer

Barmer, Oct 28 (UNI) A rape victim committed suicide by jumping into a well in this district of Rajasthan.

According to the police, the victim's father lodged a report at Sadr police station yesterday. The report said one Chenaram raped his daughter and threatened her.

His frightened daughter later committed suicide by jumping into the well, he alleged.

The police are investigating the case.
