PM to visit Kerala on Nov 1 as scheduled

New Delhi, Oct 28 (UNI) Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will visit Kerala on November one as scheduled, the PMO confirmed today and refuted reports about the cancellation of the tour.

''The Prime Minister's visit to Kerala, scheduled for November 1, stands as of now, and there is no change in his tour plan,'' a Prime Minister's Office (PMO) spokesperson said.

The clarification comes in the wake of reports about some ''uncertainty'' regarding Dr Singh's visit to Kerala following an e-mail threatening his life during the proposed visit.

Security measures during the visit have been reviewed following the threat.
