Nirma posts a net profit of Rs 44.68 crore in Q2

Mumbai, Oct 28: Nirma Ltd has posted a net profit of Rs 44.68 crore during the second quarter of the current financial year ended September 30 as compared to Rs 99.20 crore during the same period last year.

Total Income (net of excise) has increased from Rs 486.64 crore for the same quarter last year to Rs 525.18 crore for the quarter ended September 30 this year, the company said in its announcement on the BSE (Bombay Stock Exchange).
