MP Govt earns over Rs 2413 cr from commercial taxes
Bhopal, Oct 28 (UNI) A growth of 20.74 per cent in the collection of commercial tax to Rs 2,413.63 crore has been announced in Madhya Pradesh in the past six months.
Madhya Pradesh received Rs 1,864.92 crore from commercial taxes, 296.34 crore from Central Sales Tax and Rs 296.34 crore from entry tax during this period, an official release said here today.
The collection of commercial tax stood at Rs 1,030.97 crore from Indore division, Rs 731.49 crore from Bhopal division, Rs 29.65 crore from Khandwa, Rs 43.57 crore from Ratlam, Rs 144.11 crore from Gwalior, Rs 108.30 crore from Jabalpur, Rs 108.30 crore from Jabalpur, Rs 41.48 crore from Chhindwara, Rs 173.46 crore from Satna, Rs 34.59 crore from Sagar and Rs 75.51 crore from Ujjain division, the release added.
