KYKL warns to punish corrupt ministers, officials
Imphal, Oct 28 (UNI) The Kanglei Yawol Kanna Lup (KYKL), a militant organisation of Manipur, has announced to punish ministers and officials allegedly involved in corrupt practices in the education department.
A spokesman for the outfit said it has got enough evidence to prove that some ministers were involved in corrupt practices. It alleged that the mid-day meal scheme was misused by the ministers and the officials and they had been deducting some amount from the fund allocated for the children.
It further announced that it has the list of the officials involved and informed that it had two officials in its custody for alleged involvement in corrupt practices. The officials were asked to retire from service or face punishment.
Incidentally, this militant outfit had already shot officials of the Education department, including two directors at their legs for allegedly misusing funds.
