JBTRL Q2 net sales up 6 pc at Rs 52 cr

Mumbai, Oct 28 (UNI) Jaybharat Textiles and Real Estate Limited (JBTRL), a Saurabh Kumar Tayal Enterprise, has reported an increase of 6.37 per cent in its net sales at Rs 52.43 crore during the second quarter ended September 30 as against the net sales of Rs 49.29 crore during the previous year's corresponding quarter. The company has reported a profit of Rs 5.45 crore for the second quarter of the current fiscal as against Rs 6 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year, said a company release here today.

The company has reported an increase in its net profit at Rs 11.95 crore during the first six months of this fiscal as against Rs 11.86 crore during the same period last year. The EPS of the company stands at Rs 1.34 per share.

Diversifying from its textile business, the company has recently entered into the real estate sector. Under its real estate ambitions, the JBTRL is constructing a hyper-market-cum-commercial centre called City Centre at Vapi in Gujarat. The ambitious Vapi project will have an IT Park, auditoriums, malls, food courts and multiplexes.
