India, Pak may play charity matches for Prince's Trust
London, Oct 28 (UNI) Following a request by Prince's Trust overseen by Prince Charles, India and Pakistan may take on each other in two charity one-dayers here in the first half of July.
Quoting BCCI vice-President Lalit Modi, the 'Times' reported that the matches are likely to be played at the Lord's and the Brit Oval and some proceeds will be donated to the trust.
''We have been requested by the Prince's Trust to hold some games and we will see in the next few weeks whether we can get things confirmed,'' the daily quoted Mr Modi as saying.
''They would be bilateral matches, run as normal internationals with some money going to charity,'' he added.
Mr Modi revealed that he -- along with former Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Shahryar Khan -- had already met Prince Charles to discuss the organisation of the matches.
