Head of the Orthodox Church to visit Delhi

New Delhi, Oct 28 (UNI)The Catholicos and Malankara Metropolitan His Holiness Moran Mar Baselios Marthoma Didymus I, the supreme head of the Orthodox Church, and his newly elected successor His Beatitude Paulose Mar Milithios, will visit Delhi on November 4-5.

A rousing reception will be accorded to them by the Delhi Diocese of the Orthodox Church. Their visit coincides with the feast of Parumala Mar Gregorios, a declared saint of the Church, at the St Gregorios Orthodox Church, Janakpuri.

A felicitation meeting will be held at the premises of the Janakpuri church on November 5. Delhi Chief Minister Shiela Dikshit, Union Minister for Overseas Indian Affairs Vayalar Ravi, Dr P C Alexander M P and other dignitaries will offer felicitations.
