Groundnutseed and its oil rises on lesser stocks arrivals

Mumbai, Oct 28 (UNI) Prices of groundnutseed, its oil,sunflower and pamolein oils rallied due to lesser stocks supply and good demand while castorseed december contract remained firm on sustained heavy buying support, traders at the Bombay Commodity Exchange (BCE) today said.

Trading in the castorseed futures resumed high at Rs 1,880, high at 1,888, low at Rs 1,874 and closed upward trend at Rs 1,886 as against Rs 1,871 per quintal on the previous day.

There was fresh speculative support by local operators along with 160 tonnes business was reported during the session.
