Vidisha, MP, Oct 28 (UNI) Government officials, posted on election duty in far-flung areas for the October 30 Vidisha Lok Sabha constituency by-polls, are busy consulting doctors and receiving tips following the dreaded dengue and chikungunya diseases.

The officials are scared of the wrath of mosquitoes, saying it could affect them during the election duty as the areas are devoid of necessary facilities No health examination of the officials has taken place so far.

However, they are consulting doctors privately.

Meanwhile, deployment of health officials and doctors from Vidisha, Raisen and Sehore on the election duty will affect health services. However, election duty of about dozen government officals had been cancelled due to illness from chikungunya or some other diseases.
