Dishman Infrastructure gets nod for setting up Engg, Pharma SEZs

Mumbai, Oct 28 (UNI) Dishman Infrastructure, a company promoted by Dishman Pharmaceuticals&Chemicals Ltd, has obtained ''in principle'' approvals from the Board of Approvals, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India for setting up of one Engineering SEZ and one Pharmaceuticals and Fine Chemicals SEZ in Gujarat.

The total investment will be around Rs 650 crore for both the SEZs, to be made over next three to five years and will be funded through a combination of debt/equity and internal accruals in the company, the company informed BSE here today.

A significant portion of the processing area of the Pharmaceuticals and Fine Chemicals SEZ is likely to be used by the company for its own organic growth plans for the next five years and also to form joint ventures with its existing and potential customers from Europe and USA.
