Cyber police release photos of BPO employees
Hyderabad, Oct 28: City cyber crime police have released the photographs of four employees of a BPO here who were caught on camera attempting to sell secret data of UK citizens.
Speaking to reporters here, Cyber Crime Superintendent of Police M Shivananda Reddy said Javed, Khaleel, Mustaq and Shariff were exposed in a sting operation conducted by UK-based Channel four as part of a programme on data theft in the Indian BPO industry.
After getting a complaint from NASSCOM Regional Director S V Ramachandram on October 10, cyber crime police launched a search to nab the four BPO employees, he said, adding that a reward had been announced for anyone who gave information on their whereabouts.
