BoB registers 10.15 pc PAT at Rs 288.36 cr

New Delhi, Oct 28: Bank of Baroda today said that it posted a 10.15 per cent increase in its net profit at Rs 288.36 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2006 as against Rs 259.07 crore for the same quarter last year.

The total income of the bank rose from Rs 2003.59 crore for the Q2FY06 to Rs 2507.66 crore for Q2FY07.

According to the media reports last month, the bank, which has 39 offices in 21 countries outside India, may acquire banks overseas.

The bank has 2,698 branches in India catering to 25 million customers.
