Vigilance raids on Land Revenue Offices

Kochi, Oct 27 (UNI) The Vigilance department today conducted raids in the Land Revenue and Sub-Registrar Offices, following reports of sale of land at exhorbitant rates in the district.

The raids were conducted yesterday at Maradu, Kunnathunadu, Puthencruz, Muvvattupuzha, Perumbavoor, Pallikkara and Kothamnagalam and seized several documents, official sources said.

District Collector Mohammed Hanish said a preliminary report was expected tomorrow from the District Registrar on the land transactions carried out last one month.
