Two supplementary chargesheets against Fazlu filed in extortion cas
New Delhi, Oct 27 (UNI) Two supplementary chargesheets were today filed against criminal Fazl-ur Rehman in connection with threatening and extortion from two Delhi businessmen.
The first chargesheet filed in the court of Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Kamaljeet Arora was in connection with the threatening and exortion of a Delhi-based businessman Yudhisthir Kumar.
Fazlu's henchmen Lizo John and three others had already been convicted on September 27, 2005 in this regard.
Fazlu's voice sample had been matched by the Chandigarh CSFL using his conversation made from Dubai with the businessman and his henchmen here.
The second supplementary chargesheet was made in connection with the kidnapping and Rs 25-crore ransom demand from a businessman Sheetal Prasad on March 11, 2003 by two henchmen -- Naeem and Guddu -- who later took him to meet another don Babloo Srivastava in jail.
Fazlu had instructed them to kidnap the businessman and seek the ranson from him through phone calls from Dubai.
Hailing from Madhubani in Bihar, Fazlu had been arrested on August 6 this year at Sonauli Indo-Nepal border in Gorakhpur district of Uttar Pradesh.
