Two Al-Badr nabbed in Mysore after brief encounter

Mysore, Oct 27 (UNI) Amidst Pakistan based terrorist groups spreading their tentacles in South India, police today nabbed two members of Al-Badr group after a brief encounter in this city in the wee hours today.

Based on a tip-off, police lay waiting for the duo on the outer ring road in the city at about two am. The two, riding on a two-wheeler, opened fire on the police from a AK 56 rifle when they were asked to stop. In the ensuing encounter police returned fire and nabbed both of them. Both the terrorists sustained minor bullet injuries.

The two terrorists, identified as Fahad and Hussain, belonged to Karachi and Mansher in Pakistan, respectively, City Police Commissioner Praveen Sood told media persons here this morning.
