Three children adopted and 8 honoured on anti-Terrorism Day
New Delhi, Oct 27 (UNI) Paying tributes to the victims of last year's terror blasts in Delhi, the All India Anti-Terroist Front today adopted three children, orphaned in the attack, to mark 'Anti Terrorism Day'.
While financial assistance was given to take care of the careers of the three children, seven others were honoured with the annual 'bravery award' by the Front, along with the 'Brave Man Award' to DTC driver Kuldeep Singh whose presence of mind saved several lives.
Rajya Sabha MP Shatrughan Sinha and former Punjab DGP K P S Gill along with AIATF chairman M S Bitta were among several dignitaries present to mark the occasion.
