Taking over charge by new I and B MoS delayed

New Delhi, Oct 27 (UNI) Film star-turned-Minister of State for Information M H Ambareesh who has been inducted into the Council of Ministers and given the charge of Information and Broadcasting in the recent expansion has delayed his taking over of the charge.

The reason for this delay is apparently because the Ministry is unable to provide the minister a chamber in Shastri Bhavan, which houses the Ministry.

Informed sources said that Mr Ambareesh's taking over charge is a mere formality as he is operating from his residence itself. Once the chamber is ready, Mr Ambareesh may take over his responsibility formally. Incidentally he was allotted a chamber in some other building but the minister feels that he should function from a place where the Information and Broadcasting ministry operated, sources said.

Since all other newly inducted minister have taken over their charge, Mr Ambareesh is the only one left.
