'Surasamharam' festival celebrated in Subramaniya Swamy temple

Tuticorin, Oct 27 (UNI) About five lakh devotees from across Tamil Nadu today witnessed the 'Surasamharam' festival at Subramaniya Swamy Temple at Tiruchendur in Tuticorin district held today.

Tuticorin District Superintendent of Police John Nikesson said tight security arrangements were made for the festival.

Special trains and bus services were operated for the convenience of devotees.

Radhika Selvi MP, Rani Venkatesan MLA and DIG Nellai Range Mahali were among those who participated in the festival.
