Spanish health minister calls on Ramadoss

New Delhi, Oct 27 (UNI) Spanish Health Minister Elena Salgado, who is a candidate for the Director General of the World Health Organisation, called on Health Minister Anbumani Ramadoss here today.

Talks between the two health ministers took place in a cordial atmosphere and was mutually productive and fruitful.

The meeting is significant as Ms Salgado is a candidate for the post of Director General, WHO the elections for which are due in the first week of November in Geneva. The South East Asian Region is represented by Bhutan, Sri Lanka and Thailand.
