Silver, gold gain on bullish global advice

Mumbai, Oct 27: Spot silver and gold today opened on a firm note due to bullish global advice, traders from the Bombay Bullion association said.

Following were the opening rates of spot silver and gold: Silver (per kg) .999 fineness grade: Rs 18,644, Gold (per 10 gm): Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 8,769, Gold 99.9 purity pure gold : Rs 8,819.
