Seven hurt in blast in Asom

Guwahati, Oct 27 (UNI) At least seven people, including two women and a CRPF jawan, were injured in a bomb blast at Dhekiajuli town in Sonitpur district of Asom today evening.

According to reports received here, the bomb was planted on a bicycle in front of a hotel in the town.

Of the injured, the condition of one was stated to be serious and shifted to the Tezpur Civil Hospital.

ULFA hand was suspected to be behind the blast, though no group had owned the responsibility yet.
