Sensex up 168.01 pts in the noon trade

Mumbai, Oct 27 (UNI) The Bombay Stock Exchange Sensitive Index (Sensex) was trading 168.01 points in the green at 12,866.42 in intra-noon trade, on account of strong buying activity in Oil&Gas, Teck, PSU and Auto sector.

Earlier the Sensex had opened in the green by 44 points at 12,741.85 on strong global cues.

All major sectors on the BSE are in the green.

The gainers on the BSE-30 Sensex are - Reliance Industries, Bharti Airtel, Reliance Energy, Grasim Industries, Dr Reddy's lab, Reliance Communications, ITC, NTPC, Tata Motors and SBI all up between 1.85 to 3.94 per cent.

Besides the losers are ONGC, Hindalco, TCS, HLL, L&T and Hero Honda all down between 0.03 to 32.19 per cent.
