Ahmedabad, Oct 27 (UNI) The Indian cricket team to tour South Africa in November-Decmeber will be selected on October 30 at Mohali.
Secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Niranjan Shah said here ''Selection of Indian team for its South Africa tour will be done at Mohali on October 30.'' Shah also said that the new players contracts would be in decided in a board meeting which will be held between November 9 and 11.
The contracts would be given shape by Chairman of selectors (Dilip Vengsarkar), Indian coach (Greg Chappell) and myself. We will first grade the cricketer and then offer contracts, he added.
Shah also said that the board at this moment does not feel the need of putting up a permanent anti-doping policy for national cricketers.
''We are concentrating on educating and creating awareness about doping among cricketers,'' he said.
