Jalandhar, Oct 27 (UNI) Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) general-secretary and former Union Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal today held Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh and Director General of Police S S Virk responsible for armed clash between workers of his party and SAD (Amritsar) in Kathunangal on Wednesday.

Mr Badal told mediapersons that Punjab Police had helped SAD (Amritsar) president Simranjit Singh Mann and his armed supporters to reach the venue of the religious function in Kathunangal to disrupt it.

Mr Badal alleged the Chief Minister had lost his cool after seeing mass support for SAD rally in Chandigarh recently and now was trying to vitiate the atmosphere by instigating violence.

The SAD leader also expressed fear of more such incidents of violence at the behest of the Chief Minister.

He said his party would continue to expose the misdeeds of the Chief Minister and his colleagues. After alleged City Centre scam, scams in other mega projects would also be exposed by his party, Mr Badal added.

Mr Badal said another huge rally would be organised by his party in Moga on December 8 on party president Parkash Singh Badal's birthday.
