Nagendran made AIADMK election wing Jt Secretary

Chennai, Oct 27 (UNI) The AIADMK today removed senior leader and former Minister Nainar Nagendran from the post of AIADMK Jayalalithaa Peravai Secretary and made him the party's Election wing Joint Secretary.

In a statement here, AIADMK Supremo and former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa said Mr T V Mahadevan has been appointed as the Peravai Secretary.

She also announced that Mr Nagendran was appointed as the AIADMK election wing Joint Secretary and appealed to the party workers to extend their support to them.

The shifting of Mr Nagendran from a relatively good post comes on a day in which the Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-corruption conducted raids at his residence and business establishments in the city and in his native Tirunelveli district in Southern Tamil Nadu.
