Microsoft India wins DataQuest annual awards

Bangalore, Oct 27 (UNI) Microsoft India has won the DataQuest Annual Awards for Top Innovation Company and Top Package Software Vendor for 2005-06.

The awards, based on a survey conducted by DataQuest encompassing nearly 1,000 IT companies, recognised corporate and individual achievements across various sectors of the Indian IT industry, Microsoft India said in a release here today.

The Top Innovation Company award recognised the company's contribution towards key product developments and a significant number of patents filed over the past year. This achievement could be attributed to the crucial role played by Microsoft India Development Centre, Hyderabad, the release said.
