Kidnapped Delhi boy rescued in Gurdaspur
Gurdaspur, Oct 27 (UNI) A 22-year-old youth who was kidnapped in Delhi for ransom was today handed over to his parents here after he was rescued from his abductors by the Punjab police.
A resident of East of Kailash in Delhi, Anmol Behl, was kidnapped in Delhi on October 25.
SSP Paramraj Singh here said that the youth was rescued late last night at a naka in Police Chowk area here.
Anmol was handed over to his parents, who arrived here today after getting the information about thier son from the Punjab Police.
''He, (Anmol), was thrown out of a Maruti van by some persons when the vehicle was stopped by the cops at a naka in Police Lines area,'' the SSP said.
A case has been registered in this regard, he added.
