German man suffering from AIDS gets 10 yrs for possessing Heroin

New Delhi, Oct 27 (UNI) A city court today sentenced a German national suffering from AIDS to ten years imprisonment and Rs one lakh for possessing 1.86 gms of Heroin.

Special NDPS Judge S N Gupta took a lenient view of Richard Henry Rodrigues' health in passing the order.

Richard was caught with the contraband at Delhi Airport in 1999.

He was coming from Kathmandu and going to Amsterdam.
