Cosmo Films Q2 net up 23.37pc; income jumps 24.42%

New Delhi, Oct 27 (UNI) Cosmo Films Ltd (CFL), manufacturer of bi-axially oriented polypropylene, today reporterd 23.37 per cent jump in net profit at Rs 4.75 crore during Q2FY07 from Rs 3.85 crore in Q2FY06.

The company's income from operations climbed 24.42 per cent at Rs 134.67 crore in Q2FY07 from 108.23 crore in Q2FY06.

Exports during the second quarter of the fiscal stood at Rs 128.27 crore as against Rs 69.26 crore during the same period last year.

During the half year between April-September 2006, CFL posted a 10.88 crore net profit, up by 155.36 per cent from Rs 4.26 crore during H1FY06.

The income from operations during April-September this year too rose by 30 per cent at Rs 259.95 crore from Rs 199.26 crore during the same period last year.
