Century Textiles Q2 net rises to Rs 74.79 cr

Mumbai, Oct 27 (UNI) Century Textiles&Industries Ltd has posted a net profit of Rs 74.79 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2006, as compared to Rs 7.41 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2005.

Announcing the results, the company said its total income (net of excise) has increased from Rs 595.08 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2005, to Rs 760.05 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2006.
