Centre alerts Mizoram over missing IAS officer

Aizawl, Oct 27 (UNI) The Union government has asked the Mizoram government to locate the IAS officer and Tourism secretary K Narasimha, a 1991 UT batch, wanted in the Radisson seizure case.

Official sources here said an official note from the Centre had been recevied by the Mizoram government asking it to locate the officer.

During a search operation in his Hyderabad residence, where he went missing few days ago, investigators had recovered Rs 53 from a locker and a laptop from the baggage.

The main accused of Radisson seizure case Mr Kapoor and Mr Narasimha were allegedly involved in a sordid land deal and had nexus of some other corrupt officials, sources added.

The Mizoram government has asked state vigilance authority and invstigation department of state police to carry out search for the absconding officer following instruction form Delhi, sources informed.
