CBI court grants bail to Gopalan
Kochi, Oct 27 (UNI) A CBI special court today granted conditional bail to Former Additional Director of Public Instruction M Gopalan, tenth accused in the SSLC leak case.
Justice B Kamal Pasha ordered Gopalan to be released on bail on furnishing a bond of Rs 50,000 and two sureties of the like sum.
The court directed Gopalan to appear before the investigating officer on every Thursday.
Gopalan, accused of allegedly conniving in awarding contract to co-accused Rajan Chacko to print the SSLC question papers from 2002 to 2005, surrendered before the CBI on October 25.
