Body of missing boy found

Puducherry, Oct 27: Police recovered the body of a student who went missing on October 23 from the Ossudu lake here.

According to police, A Venkatesh of Thilaspet, a 11th standard student in a private school, went out on October 23 evening to play cricket and did not return. His father Anandaraj preferred a complaint with police.

The body was recovered tied up in a jute bag.

The parents examined it and confirmed it to be that of Venkatesh.

Police registered a case and were investigating.
