BJS alleges attempt to damage Uma's aircraft
Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh, Oct 27 (UNI) The Bharatiya Jan Shakti (BJS), in a complaint to the Election Commission today, alleged that some BJP workers tried to damage the helicopter of BJS President Uma Bharti.
BJS Vice President Chandraraj Singhvi told reporters here that both Ms Bharti and Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan were scheduled to address election meetings at Jaitpura village today.
While Ms Bharti was addressing the rally, Mr Chouhan, who was running behind schedule, also reached there by helicopter. BJP workers resorted to hooliganism and attempted to set on fire Ms Bharti's helicopter, Mr Singhvi alleged, adding BJS workers were also beaten up.
He said a complaint in this regard as well as use of money and muscle power by the ruling BJP had been lodged with the Election Commission.
