Bardoli pays homage to bereaved BJP leaders

Surat, Oct 27 (UNI) Thousands paid homage at Bardoli, to the BJP leaders who died tragically in a road accident near Anand.

Shops were closed and a huge crowd participated in the rally organised as part of the funeral procession of Gautambhai Desai and Sukhbhai Rathod, BJP leaders from Bardoli.

Senior BJP leaders like Kashiram Rana MP, Narottam Patel (state water resources minister), Mangubhai Patel, Mansingh Patel, Pravin Naik, Gunavanth Desai and Ashwin Patel participated in the funeral procession.

The three BJP leaders including Gautambhai Desai (president of Bardoli municipality), Sukhbhai Desai (councellor) and Mukesh Desai from Mangrol died, when their car hit a divider on the Express Highway, while returning from Ahemedabad after the election of state BJP president.
