BAFL choose Polaris and engage IBM for mngt

Mumbai, Oct 27: Leading retail loan provider Bajaj Auto Finance Limited(BAFL)&an associate of Bajaj Auto Limited today announced the selection of Intellect product suite from the Chennai-based Polaris Software Limited.

According to a release issued here by BAFL, the new software will be implemented at all the branches and offices of BAFL. The latest software will be supported by Kshitij, a project to implement the new software, was also launched at the BAFL office in Pune.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Sanjiv Bajaj, ED, Bajaj Auto Limited said,''BAFL is on path to become a premier retail finance company. This is being achieved through augmenting its team and through a series of initiatives aimed at improving the processes and the service delivery infrastructure including the IT platforms''.

In his address Mr Arun Jain, Chairman&CEO, Polaris Software Limited said,''We are excited about partnering with BAFL during its leadership journey. This team has the balance of right perspective, right knowledge and right operation to make it happen.'' BAFL also announced the engagement of services of IBM for programme management of a number of projects being undertaken, added the release.
