Arunachal assembly passes six bills

Itanagar, Oct 27 (UNI) The Arunachal Assembly today passed six important government bills by voice votes.

The bills, which were introduced in the house yesterday included the Arunachal Pradesh Motor Vehicles Taxation (Amendment) Bill, 2006; Arunachal Pradesh Fiscal Responsibility (Amendment) Bill, 2006; Arunachal Pradesh Goods Tax (Amendment) Bill, 2006; The Bengal Public Demand Recovery (Amendment) Bill, 2006; Arunachal Pradesh Water Management Authority Bill, 2006 and the Arunachal Pradesh Home Guard Bill, 2006.

While Chief Minister Gegong Apang and Finance Minister Kalikho Pul introduced two bills each, Industry Minister Lombo Tayeng and Water Resources Minister Tako Dabi introduced one bill each.
