3 kg charas worth Rs 90,000 seized

Anand, Oct 27 (UNI) Three kg of charas worth Rs 90,000 was seized at Bandhini chowk here from two men riding a motorcycle.

Acting on a tip-off, PSI SS Malhi and Petlad CPI AR Patel Meslav police station intercepted Ghulam Mohd Sheikh and Bhagwan Jetha Bhavsar, who are beleived to have brought charas from Petlad near here and were on their way to Ahmedabad.

The police also seized Rs 15,000 cash and two mobile phones from their possession. The total value of the seizure, including the charas, is estimated at Rs 1.40 lakh.
