Woman slays father on Eid

Indore, Oct 26 (UNI) A married woman slew her 55-year-old father while he was paying a visit to her residence here on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, the police said.

Husaini, a resident of Rajmahal Colony, arrived intoxicated at the Diamond Apartments flat of his daughter Mahjabin (26), began demanding money and misbehaved with her. Nobody else was present as Mahjabin's husband Shajid was away. The woman injured Husaini with a knife and informed her husband who returned and summoned a doctor.

By the time the physician arrived, Husaini had breathed his last.

Mahjabin surrendered at a police station and is being questioned.

She alleged that her father had misbehaved with her even earlier.
