New Delhi, Oct 26 (UNI) BJP leader and former Union Minister Vijay Goel today led a delegation of Delhi traders to the Supreme Court-appointed monitoring committee.

During their meeting with the committee members including K J Rao, the delegation of traders apprised it of the impact of sealing, which is to begin on November 1.

Cautioning that if shops were sealed, Delhi could face a law and order problem, the traders urged the committee to impress upon the apex court to stop sealing will the Master Plan 2021 was ready.

Mr Goel observed that it was astonishing that the sword of sealing was falling on traders even though the government has accepted before the court that only 16 per cent development has been made in Delhi and that the people have raised illigel constructions due to wrong policies and planning of the DDA.

Meanwhile, the trade bodies across Delhi have geared themselves up to make the Delhi bandh a grand success and hectic activities on a large scale are being carried out by traders on a mass scale in each market of Delhi.
