UP DGP appears before Allahabad HC

Allahabad, Oct 26 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh DGP Bua Singh today appeared before the Allahabad High Court and assured that necessary steps would be taken to ensure instruction in bail applications reaches the court within time.

In his affidavit, the DGP mentioned that on September 6 last, he had issued directions to all the SSPs/SPs to comply with the HC order.

It was stated that on October 17, a circular was issued fixing responsibility of SSPs/SPs in the matter of supply of instructions to government advocate office at the HC.

Meanwhile, Justice Vinod Prasad exempted the personal presence of the DGP on the future date of hearing.
