SVDL director invited to International conference

Tirupati, Oct 26: Sri Venkateswara Digital Library (SVDL) Director B Subramanyam Reddy will attend the second international conference on Universal Digital Library at Bibilotheca Alexandrina in Alexandria, Egypt, from November 17 to 19.

According to SVDL sources here today, Mr Reddy was invited by the Alexandrina digital library. The conference will provide a forum for library and its professionals to exchange comprehensive views on the recent development and progress in the digital library technology.

It would enhance the global impact of 'universal digital library project' otherwise called the Million Book Project (MBH), the sources added.

Experts from China, Egypt, India and US would participate in the conference and exchange ideas to set up the universal digital libraray, the sources added.
