Six bills introduced in Arunachal assembly

Itanagar, Oct 26 (UNI) Altogether six important government bills have been introduced in the first day of the sixth session of fourth legislative assembly of Arunachal Pradesh today.

The bills include Arunachal Pradesh Motor Vehicles Taxation (Amendment) Bill, 2006; Arunachal Pradesh Fiscal Responsibility (Amendment) Bill, 2006; Arunachal Pradesh Goods Tax (Amendment) Bill, 2006; The Bengal Public Demand Recovery (Amendment) Bill, 2006; Arunachal Pradesh Water Management Authority Bill, 2006 and the Arunachal Pradesh Home Guard Bill, 2006.

While Chief Minister Gegong Apang and Finance Minister Kalikho Pul introduced two bills each, Industry Minister Lombo Tayeng and Water Resources Minister Tako Dabi introduced one bill each.

The bill would be taken up in the house tomorrow for consideration and passed by voice votes.
