Shipping Corporation Q2 net surges 114 pc to Rs 321 crore

Mumbai, Oct 26 (UNI) The state owned Shipping Corporation of India Ltd (SCI) has posted a net profit after tax of Rs 321.29 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2006 as compared to Rs 149.95 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2005, a jump of 114.26 per cent.

Announcing the results, the company said its total income has increased from Rs 747.37 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2005 to Rs 1097.77 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2006.
