Ujjain (MP), Oct 26: Exactly two months after Prof Harbhajan Singh Sabharwal was allegedly slain during students' union poll-linked violence at Madhav College, a local court today remanded six accused to judicial custody until November 8.

An inquiry by the Crime Investigation Department (CID) had led to the arrest of the then Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad State President Shashiranjan Singh Akela, the then secretary (organisation) Vimal Tomar, Hemant Dubey, Vishal Rajauria, Pankaj Mishra and Sudheer Yadav.

The CID submitted a charge sheet in the court on October 13. The accused were brought before Judicial Magistrate R C Madia. The next date of hearing is November 8 when the case would be transferred to the districts and sessions court.
