Muslim panel term extended upto November 30

New Delhi, Oct 26 (UNI) Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has extneded the tenure of the high level committee headed by Justice Rajinder Sachar on the social, economic and educational status of Muslim community in the country by one month.

The committee set up in March 2005 will now end on November 30.

The Committee was granted 15 months to present its report and its term was extended upto the end of this month.
