Maruti Udyog Q2 net up 40 pc to Rs 367.44 crore

Mumbai, Oct 26 (UNI) Maruti Udyog has posted a net profit of Rs 367.44 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2006 as compared to Rs 262.66 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2005, a rise of 39.89 per cent.

Announcing the results, the company said its total income (net of excise) has increased from Rs 3146.87 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2005 to Rs 3540.89 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2006.
